The Shipping Process

1. Order received
   Once your item is sold on Kifaayat, you’ll receive an order notification with the buyer’s details.

2. Pack your item
   Secure your item carefully in a box or satchel, making sure it’s well protected for transit.

3. Choose your postal service
   Select a reliable local courier or postal service (e.g. AusPost) and lodge the parcel at your local post office.

4. Add tracking on Kifaayat
   Enter the tracking number on your Kifaayat order so the buyer can follow their parcel.
   Note: Not adding tracking may delay your payment.

5. Mark as delivered
   Once shipped, mark the order as “Shipped / Delivered” on Kifaayat and wait for the buyer to confirm they’ve received the item.

6. Get paid via Stripe
   After the buyer confirms delivery, Stripe processes your payout.
   You’ll receive the funds in your chosen bank account within 2–5 business days.

How do I determine the shipping price?

Sellers on Kifaayat may choose their own shipping provider. However, we highly recommend using recorded delivery (such as Australia Post, NZ Post, UPS, USPS, Royal Mail UK, or Canada Post).

• Sellers must include the shipping cost as part of their listing.
• A tracking number must be provided to the buyer once the item has been shipped. Failure to do so may result in the seller not receiving payment.
• Both the seller and buyer can communicate via the Kifaayat portal to agree on the best shipping method.
• Kifaayat does not take responsibility for items damaged in transit.

We recommend using a reliable shipping provider with flat-rate prices or pre-paid satchels. This makes it easier to include accurate shipping costs in listings and ensures that tracking is included.

Flat-Rate Packaging (under 5kg):
If you send an item 5kg or under in Australia using AusPost’s flat-rate packaging, you’ll pay the flat rate postage based on the size of the package, not the weight or destination.
